In view of the latest development of the Generative AI service (in-house chatgpt) in HSUHK, Mr. Kelvin WAN from the CTL (E-Learning Section) had the honor of being invited by the esteemed Director of ITSC, HSUHK, Prof. PC WONG, to share his invaluable insights on the practical use of HSUHK’s in-house ChatGPT service during the “ChatGPT Training Workshop – from Beginner to Expert.” This successful workshop, held on 13 July, provided an exceptional platform to explore the immense potential of ChatGPT.
During the workshop, Mr. Kelvin WAN captivated the participants by showcasing his practical utilization of the in-house ChatGPT (chatgpt.hsu.edu.hk) for administrative, teaching, and learning purposes. His presentation served as a highlight, sparking great interest among the attendees. Following Mr. WAN’s sharing, Prof. WONG enlightened the participants with knowledge and concepts of Generative AI through engaging hands-on sessions. These sessions included instructive guidance on crafting effective queries, or prompts, to ensure optimal results when interacting with ChatGPT.
The workshop proved to be a remarkable success, providing attendees with valuable insights into the practical implementation of ChatGPT within the university setting. Mr. Kelvin WAN’s expertise and Prof. PC WONG’s guidance created an atmosphere of exploration and learning, enabling participants to grasp the full potential of ChatGPT for their specific needs.
